Help Center: troubleshoot the issue first

Registration, subscriptions, connections, routes, and billing issues are sorted by symptoms. Start with checks you can verify, then decide whether the problem belongs in the ticket black hole.

AUTH / SUB

Accounts & Subscriptions

From creating an account to loading a subscription into your client. This section handles the access keys, not the mysteries.

Do I need an email address to register for JVVPN?

No. You can register with a username and password. Save them in a trusted password manager so you do not lose your login details after changing browsers or clearing local data. After registration, open the plans page and choose the data tier you need.

Where can I find my subscription after purchase?

Sign in to the user panel and open Account Overview or the client section. Follow the instructions to retrieve your current subscription and import it into your client. Your subscription is delivered through your account and is not published as a public URL on marketing pages. Copy the full content without cutting off the final characters, and never share it publicly in group chats or forums.

How do I update my subscription link?

Find the current subscription in your client and run its update or refresh action. If old routes still appear, return to the user panel, copy the current subscription again, and replace the existing configuration. Before doing so, make sure you are signed in with the same username used to purchase the plan. After updating, choose a route again and connect so the client does not keep using its cached configuration.

Do I need to purchase again after changing devices?

No. Changing devices does not require another purchase. JVVPN has no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time, and the same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. On a new device, retrieve the subscription from the user panel and import it again; copying the entire old client data directory is not recommended.

Which systems support JVVPN?

Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported. The client download entry is available in the user panel, where you can choose the method for your current system after signing in. Before importing, remove clearly invalid old configurations. Then check that the route list is complete and visit familiar websites in a browser to verify the connection.

LINK / FIX

Connections & Troubleshooting

A lit connection button does not mean the data has reached its destination. Narrow the scope by symptoms; that is more reliable than clicking the switch repeatedly.

What should I check first if the client keeps failing to connect?

First confirm that your plan is still valid and the subscription is up to date, then try another route. Fully disconnect the old connection, quit the client, and reopen it. If every route fails, switch to another network to cross-check the issue. Do not stack multiple proxies or network filtering tools, as they may compete for the system proxy settings and leave packets awkwardly waiting at the door.

What should I do if it says connected but websites will not open?

Visit several different websites to determine whether one site is having trouble or all requests are failing. Check whether the client has enabled the system proxy, then switch to a route in another region. If the browser is still using an old connection, close it completely and reopen it. You can also temporarily change the client's routing mode to determine whether the issue comes from rule matching or the underlying connection.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common cause is that the routing rules do not match requests from that app, or the app kept an old connection from before the proxy was established. Fully close the app, switch to a broader proxy mode, and open it again. If it works, the underlying route is fine; adjust the routing rules instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client.

What should I do if a subscription update fails?

First make sure you copied the complete subscription currently shown in the user panel, not an old entry from the browser history. Delete duplicate or invalid subscriptions with the same name in the client, then import the subscription again. For a format error, check whether spaces or line breaks were added during copying. For a network error, disconnect the proxy and retry the request over your current network.

What can I do if iOS or Android disconnects when running in the background?

Check whether the system restricts the client's background activity or network permissions, and make sure battery-saving settings are not repeatedly freezing it. Reopen the client, confirm that the subscription is still valid, and test another route. If disconnections occur only after locking the screen or switching apps, investigate the system's background policies first rather than treating route speed as the only suspect.

ROUTE / QoS

Speed & Routes

Routes are not a leaderboard. Distance, time of day, the target service, and your local network all shape the experience; one number cannot tell the whole story.

How do I choose the right route?

Start with a nearby route that is currently stable, then adjust it based on the region where your target service is located. Do not rely on a single test result; repeatedly opening pages, playing content, and switching pages gives a better picture of real-world performance. For region-specific content, choose an exit in the relevant region. For everyday browsing, prioritize stability and responsive performance.

What should I do when performance slows during peak hours?

Switch to another route in the same region to rule out temporary congestion on one link. Then pause system updates, cloud-sync tasks, and large file transfers so they do not consume your local bandwidth. If routes across regions are generally slower, use a closer exit. Compare results on the same network and client instead of combining different environments into one conclusion.

How should I troubleshoot lower streaming quality or frequent buffering?

First check whether the target platform also fluctuates without the proxy, then switch to another route in the relevant region. Before playback, close bandwidth-heavy downloads and sync tasks, and restart the streaming app to clear its old connection. If only one content platform is affected, select a route based on that platform and region instead of assuming the entire subscription has failed.

Does lower latency always mean faster performance?

Not necessarily. Latency mainly affects response time after a click, while sustained downloads, video playback, and large file transfers also depend on link congestion, exit quality, and your local network. Evaluate responsiveness, sustained transfer, and stability together when choosing a route. Treating one number as the final score is like judging an entire spacecraft by how quickly its hatch opens: rather specialized.

Which regions does JVVPN cover?

JVVPN covers 90+ countries / 200+ routes. After updating your subscription in the client, you can see the regions currently available. Routes are presented by purpose and region, so consider the target website, your current network, and the time of day when choosing one. Coverage determines your options; the final experience depends on your actual local connection.

BILL / SAFE

Billing & Refunds

Prices, data allowances, and refund rules are stated plainly. The finance bay does not do metaphors; bills already have enough drama.

What monthly plans and data tiers are available?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your video streaming, file-transfer, and everyday browsing needs. A larger data allowance does not automatically give an individual route a different speed; the main difference between tiers is the monthly data allowance.

What data packages are available, and do they expire?

Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for people with irregular usage who prefer consumption-based use. They follow a different billing rhythm from monthly plans that reset each month, so consider your usage habits before choosing.

When does monthly plan data reset?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date, not at the start of a calendar month. When checking your remaining data, use the account cycle shown in the user panel. Near the reset time, do not guess based on the end of the calendar month; the activation date is the starting point. Data packages remain available until used and never expire.

How are plan upgrades handled mid-cycle?

For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before starting, verify the current plan, remaining period, and target tier in the user panel, then follow the on-page upgrade flow. An upgrade does not simply discard the old cycle, and creating multiple orders to test the outcome is not recommended. Use the orders and plan status shown in the user panel for reconciliation.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Open the Plans page in the user panel, choose the tier you need, and view the corresponding payment option. After paying, return to the order page to confirm the status instead of paying repeatedly because the page has not refreshed yet. If the status remains unchanged for a long time, submit a ticket from the user panel with the relevant order details.

How do I request a refund?

JVVPN offers 7-day refunds without requiring a reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, and provide the relevant order and refund request. Keep the information visible on the order page available for verification. Check replies in the same ticket after submitting, and avoid creating multiple requests for one order—no need to add echoes to the control console.
